By foot

Liverpool University Dental Hospital is about three miles from the M62, please follow signs for The Royal Liverpool University Hospital and the city centre.

If you are travelling via the Mersey tunnels, Queensway, turn left at the roundabout at the tunnel exit and immediately bear right into the filter lane to turn right at the traffic lights and follow signs.

For the Kingsway tunnel, follow the exit slip road onto the main carriageway keeping in the left-hand lane. At the traffic lights bear left and follow signs.

Car parking

Drivers are directed to the Q-Park multi-storey car park on Prescot Street, L6 1LY.

For those with walking difficulties, there is a shuttle bus service operating between Q-Park, the Liverpool University Dental Hospital and The Royal Liverpool University Hospital. The bus operates 8.30am-5pm. If you find you are waiting a while for the bus, the driver’s number is displayed on the Q-Park exit.

Disabled car parking is provided at the Q-Park multi-storey. Disabled spaces are available on the entry level and are well marked and signposted. Staff can provide assistance to patients and visitors if required.

The car park has a designated pick-up zone.

Train

The hospital is a mile from Liverpool Lime Street Station which serves the main city line and Liverpool Central Station, which provides routes on the Northern and Wirral lines.

There are freephone direct lines to local taxi companies and these can be booked using the freephone’s which are situated in the main entrances.

Taxis are also readily available from Liverpool Lime Street station.
