Shops, catering and facilities at Broadgreen Hospital

All units accept card and cash payments.

Restaurant

The restaurant is on the surgical corridor and provides hot meals, snacks and drinks. It is open Monday to Sunday, 7.30am-3pm.

The Coffee Shop

The Coffee Shop is near to the hospitals main entrance and serves Starbucks hot drinks, toasties, baked potatoes, sandwiches and cakes. It is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am-6pm, and at the weekend, 7.30am-4pm.

Alexandra Café

The café is in the Alexandra Wing of the hospital and serves Starbucks hot drinks, toasties, baked potatoes, sandwiches and cakes. It is open Monday to Friday, 9am-2pm.

Vending machines

Vending machines are located throughout the hospital site.

Main entrance shop

The shop is located near to the main entrance of the hospital and offers a wide selection of items including newspapers, magazines, confectionery, cold drinks, gifts and toiletries. It is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am-6pm, and at weekends, 7.30am-4pm.

Wi-Fi

Patients and visitors can access free, secure NHS Wi-Fi at all University Hospitals of Liverpool Group hospital sites.

To get connected, simply open the Wi-Fi settings on your Apple (iPhone/iPad) or Android device and select the NHS Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you'll be asked to register before you can start browsing.

You can register using:

  • Your email address
  • Your Facebook account
  • Your LinkedIn account.

After registering, you'll be able to access the internet free of charge, helping you stay in touch with family and friends, browse the web, or access online services during your visit.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs should be available at the hospital main entrance where there is a dedicated porter based at the reception desk, 8.30am-4.30pm, and at the Alexandra Wing entrance. However, these are utilised widely and may not always be available.

Baby change

There is a baby change room on-site behind the hospital’s main reception, Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day.

Disabled toilet

A disabled toilet can be found in the hospital’s main reception and is open Monday to Sunday, 6am-10pm.

Pharmacy

The Pharmacy can be found in the Alexandra Wing Therapies Department, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. It is closed on bank holidays.

Cash machine

A cash machine can be found near the hospital main entrance. Cash withdrawal is free.

Amazon Lockers

Amazon lockers are located inside the main hospital entrance. Identifier/name is Spikes.

Cash Office

The cashier’s office is open to members of the public who are eligible for refunds for their travel, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm – closed on bank holidays. The cashier’s office is located behind the main reception.
